The highway project has been in existence for a considerable number of years; however, it is only recently that the commencement of construction appears to be drawing closer to fruition. Dimitri Angelini has been collecting material relating to the places he has visited. He is currently analysing the last approved project's itinerary, and taking photographs of locations which may soon undergo change, or which may cease to exist. The artist's work can be considered a personal documentation, serving as a memento of the landscapes he encounters. In this peculiar and "abbreviated" promenade, he experiences a sense of reencounter with the past, as if the landscape had been rendered imperceptible and unremarkable.
